Trade shows cost you both time and money, so you want to make the show worth your while. The setup of your booth can have a great impact on the engagement and response you receive from the visitors. From promo swag to banners, we have got the keys to drawing the crowds in and getting them talking.
Promo swag. It is highly unlikely that people will be raving about the pen they just received from your booth with fellow trade show attendees. You want something exciting that people are dying to get their hands on (check out our blog post about hand spinners). Quality is key. Choose something that people can use for years to come and something that will serve as a reminder of your brand when you are no longer with them. Banners that catch the eye. Less is more--keep it crisp, clear, and direct. A simplistic and clean design can go a long way when you know your audience. Create a message that speaks to your target audience. Remember, a picture is worth a thousand words. So, design a banner that incorporates pictures that play off of your textual message. Utilize technology. Have devices displaying videos or images that represent what your company does. This is a great visual and talking point during your conversations, but also serves as a source of information for booth visitors when you are busy with other guests. It may be helpful to have a station where there is a computer or tablet with your website up and people can browse what you have to offer. Make it interactive. Demo your product. We understand that not all products and services can be demonstrated, but if you have one that can be, use this to your advantage. If you have a product that can not be demonstrated, there are other interactive ways you can pull people in like hosting a game.
